Lake Manyara National Park

Tree-Climbing Lions

Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a unique behavior rarely observed elsewhere. Seeing these majestic predators lounging on acacia branches is one of the park’s most iconic experiences.

Lake Manyara

The expansive alkaline lake forms the heart of the park, drawing large flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and storks. The shimmering pink hues of the flamingos against the lake’s reflective waters create breathtaking photographic scenes.

Rift Valley Views
